Come as Strangers, Leave as Friends

Since 1950, Camp St. Basil’s at Pigeon Lake has welcomed children ages 7–14 to grow in faith, enjoy the outdoors, and build lasting friendships!

Our Ukrainian-Catholic faith is the lifeblood of our camp, and in that spirit we welcome campers from many different cultural and faith backgrounds.

Camp is not possible without the dedication of our volunteers. To learn how you can help make Camp St. Basil’s 2026 our best summer yet, please click the button below.

FAITH

Christ is the heart of our camp. The Basilian Fathers, Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate, catechists, and counsellors centre each day around Him through Divine Liturgy, prayer, catechism, song, weekly confession, and hands-on explorations of the faith.

Our camp welcomes all and creates the space for lasting friendships to take root. Campers come back year after year to see old friends and make new ones. They learn to build community, support one another, and grow in Christian love and care. Counsellors and other volunteers provide support and fellowship for campers and for one another.

FRIENDSHIP

FUN

A wide array of activities make camp one of the highlights of summer! From sports and crafts to swimming, campfires, canoeing, archery, dance, and even a firework show, each day is filled with adventure and creativity as campers try new things, build confidence, and form lasting memories.
