Volunteer with Us
Camp St. Basil’s would not be possible without the dedication of our junior counsellors, senior counsellors, parent volunteers, cooks, nurses, catechists, priests, and nuns. We are truly grateful for the time and talents of all our volunteers who give so generously. If you would like to help make camp an unforgettable experience for our campers this summer, please apply below through the appropriate link.
Our camp is a Ukrainian-Catholic environment where all counsellors and campers participate in daily Divine Liturgy. However, we warmly welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join our camp community. It is not necessary for volunteers to be Ukrainian or Ukrainian-Catholic; however, all volunteers should be comfortable participating in a faith-based environment.
Junior Counsellors: Serve and Grow FULL FOR NEW APPLICANTS
As a Junior Counsellor (ages 15–17 by June 28), you are invited to grow in service within the camp community. Under the mentorship of our staff and Senior Counsellors, you will develop leadership skills, share your talents, and grow as a role model for younger campers. You will gain hands-on experience in giving back to your community in a supportive, faith-filled environment.
Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in the Junior Counsellor position! Due to an exceptionally high number of applications, Junior Counsellor applications for 2026 are now closed. We are very grateful for your interest and the outpouring of enthusiasm for serving at Camp St. Basil’s.
If you are a returning Junior Counsellor (you served at Camp St. Basil–Oselia in 2025), please email the Director at campstbasils@gmail.com to receive access to the returning counsellor application form.
If you weren’t able to apply this year but would like to be among the first to know when applications open for 2027, you are welcome to email campstbasils@gmail.com and request to be added to our notification list.
Thank you again for your interest and understanding. May God bless you.
Senior Counsellors: Serve and Lead
As a Senior Counsellor (18+), you are called to lead in service within the camp community. Building on your experience, you will take on greater responsibility, mentor Junior Counsellors, and lead activities for campers. You will help shape the camp experience while continuing to share your gifts in service to others and your faith community.

Parent Volunteers
Would you like to help support our camp while your child attends? Parent volunteers play a vital role in helping our camp run smoothly by assisting with kitchen duties, dishes, cleaning, and supervision. This support allows our counsellors to focus on leading campers in all the fun and faith-filled activities of camp. We also welcome parent volunteers with specific skills. In the past, parents have helped by leading workshops, face painting, and other activities for campers. If you have skills you would like to contribute, please feel free to discuss them with the Camp Director to explore possible opportunities.
We are also seeking individuals with experience in catechism instruction to support our faith programming.
Please note that this form is for parent volunteers only. Your child must be registered separately through the camper registration link.

If you are an adult who is interested in volunteering in a different capacity (i.e. shorter period of time, day of confessions, etc) another form will be provided in the near future. In the mean time, please contact the Director directly about your interests at campstbasils@gmail.com
